The Engagement of Tabitha and Mike | Meres, Michigan Wedding Photographer

I’m going to have to apologize right now for the serious over-sharing that will be happening of this engagement session! But seriously – who gets to take photos at a lighthouse off of Lake Michigan every day?! Not me!

This place was extra special to them – not only does Tabitha’s family vacation there every year, but it’s the very place Mike proposed!

We also hit up a local vineyard and lavender farm for some fun, romantic photos!

If this is any indication of how their wedding is going to go next September – it’s going to be amazing!

Ayden and Natalya | Fenton, Michigan Children Photographer

Oh this family! Not only are ALL of the kids photogenic, but super sweet too! I think they should all go into modeling and make a million dollars 😉

And last week I had the pleasure of taking Ayden and Natalya’s birthday photos! They are growing up right before my very eyes – so crazy to see the changes in each of their faces every year!

Both of them have a MAD sense of style, and I was delighted to see the outfits they picked out for their photo shoot. Natalya had all of the “cool” accessories, of course, and Ayden was rocking his new hair cut. I just love them.

The Wedding of Angela and Lance – June 10, 2017 | Clarkston, Michigan Wedding Photographer

This gorgeous wedding was held at Shepherd’s Hollow in Clarkston! Lance and Angela said they liked the “up north” feel it gave them! And when I arrived, I could certainly see why!

Shepherd’s Hollow is surrounded by beautiful, tall pine trees and the ceremony patio is just outside the reception location. There were so many wonderful, unique little touches, which included Angela’s love of purple! I loved the fact that Lance bought all of his guys unique Converse and his sister even got herself a sparkly pair!

It was clear that they loved Star Wars – my kind of bridal party – with the usher’s tie and a special cake for a groom men’s birthday! Angela even had a  “wifey” Moscow mule cup for her special evening! And the bag piper – so cool!

Watching the bride and groom sit together – surrounded by friends, family, and great love – was an amazing thing to witness. They are both so perfect for each other, and I wish them the absolute best! Congratulations!

The M Family | Holly, Michigan Family Photographer

Isn’t this family gorgeous? They came all the way from Australia to have me take their photos!

Ahem … OK, not REALLY, but they were in Michigan visiting family and came to see me too!

The first time I met them was four years ago and Mackenzie was only one! Time sure does have a way of running away with me. Last time I saw Sailor, she was not even walking! Just look at her big grins! Adorbs.

The T Family | Highland, Michigan Family Photographer

I just love this family – seriously! Just look at how photogenic they are!

I was lucky enough to have their daughter as my senior spokes model a few years back (can you say gorgeous?!) and I was so happy to see them again for family photos. This time I got to meet a very special member of their family that I hadn’t previously – Rusty! OMG. How cute is he?! Just look at his little bow tie!

They were so good about my antics and didn’t look at me like I was crazy when I had them hug, sit on the ground or lay on their bellies 😉

Tony and Tracy not only wanted updated photos, but celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary the day of our session! Such an inspiration!

Stephanie and Chris – May 27, 2017 | Sterling Heights, Michigan Wedding Photographer

What an amazing wedding! That’s really all I can say about Stephanie and Chris’ big day!

From the get-go, these two were so much fun and the party never stopped! My assistant and I had THE best time celebrating with their entire family!

We began the day at Strands Salon in Holly, before heading down to Freedom Hill Banquet Center where the ceremony and reception took place. It was a gorgeous sunny Memorial Day weekend – perfect for outdoor nuptials!

It was really hard for me to choose just a few to post, because I wanted to post them ALL. There are so many fun details not shown here – from the baseball cookie favors, the gorgeous table center pieces and cute cake – their wedding was to DIE for!

Thank you so much Stephanie and Chris for having us capture your big day! It means more than you will ever know!

The Bottos Family | Holly, Michigan Family Photographer

This family is just a joy to see every year! They make me feel so humble, because they come all the way from Ohio! And I am just so happy to see them! Every year it’s amazing to see how big the boys have gotten!

We met at Seven Lakes State Park this year, and it seems every year we have to deal with some major weather crisis. Last year it was raining and cold while we took photos. The year before that it was 5 degrees! One year it was super hot in November! I guess, in Michigan you never know what you’re going to get!

This year it decided to rain in the morning, and though it was sticky, it cleared up for our session! Yay!

I’ve been taking their photos since Everett was a newborn and I can’t believe that many years have passed! And the twins are growing like weeds as well! Wow, how time flies!

These boys have great big personalities, and it was so cool to watch and see how they interact. I was a lucky girl to be able to capture a bit of that on camera.

Thank you so much Andrea and Ryan! It was so great to see you and the boys this past weekend!

Meredith and Rob | Waterford, Michigan Wedding Photographer

I just loved Meredith and Rob’s style! So sweet and kind, this couple’s wedding celebration was so much fun to photograph!

Opting to have a small civil wedding in the spring, this was the big party for family and friends, and I was the lucky girl chosen to photograph it!

We took photos just outside the Waterford Oaks Activity Center, where the celebration took place. I just loved all the special little touches they added to their day and Rob’s grandmother made their wedding cake! How awesome is that?

Thank you Meredith and Rob for having us! It means so much to me and I hope you cherish the photos for years and years to come!

Happy 8th Birthday Cora! | Holly, Michigan Children Photographer

Happy birthday to my bright shining star; my strong-willed, first-born child.

I can hardly believe it’s been 8 years since you came into this world, kicking and screaming for all you were worth. It’s quite fitting your personality – you wanted the world to know you had arrived!

To this day, you’ve kept me on my toes – horse back riding, jogging, bike rides, baseball – and I’d have it no other way! I find such joy sharing in the activities you love and watching you grow.

You have schooled me in all things 8 and second grade: Pokemon, Star Wars, Five Nights at Freddies, Breyer horses, fidget spinners and slime! What an incredible journey and I’m so thankful you show me things through your eyes. McDonald’s is your favorite restaurant and all-things chocolate reign supreme. I’m pretty sure you got your sweet tooth from me, if nothing else 😉

I have no doubt – you are a force to be reckoned with and will achieve any goal you set your mind on! And I couldn’t be more proud to be your mom! My sweet, beautiful tomboy – don’t ever change!

Austin is TWO! | Holly, Michigan Children Photographer

How can this be? Two wonderful, crazy, fun-filled years have passed since my little auburn-haired boy came into this world.

I remember praying for him and when I finally became pregnant could hardly believe how blessed I was. He arrived at 2:25 p.m. with hardly a peep and a quick, intense, five-hour labor. My little man that was completely content and right with the world.

I can’t imagine our lives without him and his crazy curls; his deep, chocolate brown eyes and his little elf teeth and cute pudgy toes.

I love that he has me kiss ALL of his boo-boos, big or small and it makes it “all better.” He adores his big sister and would follow her to the ends of the Earth. Daddy is his hero and I hope I’m the mother he deserves. Because he fills my heart in a way that I never thought was possible.

Happy 2nd birthday “little” man. I consider myself the luckiest person in the universe to call you my son and be your mother.
